Ipswich Town linked with Sheffield United striker William Osula as West Bromwich Albion eye Tyreece Simpson
It could be a case of one striker in and one out at Ipswich Town before tomorrow's 11pm transfer deadline passes.
According to The Sun on Sunday, the Tractor Boys are one of three EFL League One clubs that are interested in bringing in Sheffield United forward William Osula on loan.
The 19-year-old, who hails from Denmark, has made just five senior substitute appearances for the Championship Blades.
However, he could now be about to gain further experience at Portman Road, with Lincoln City and Burton Albion also credited as interested parties.
Meanwhile, the East Anglian Daily Times are reporting that wantaway Ipswich frontman Tyreece Simpson could be joining West Bromwich Albion.
It was anticipated that the Stowmarket-raised forward would be linking up with Huddersfield Town after a fee was said to have been agreed, but a late approach from the Baggies has potentially changed the dynamic.
In other news, it is expected that one-time Ipswich target George Hirst is close to sealing a loan switch to Blackburn Rovers from Leicester City.
