Ipswich Town's reported interest in Macauley Bonne rebuffed by Queens Park Rangers as Andre Dozzell talks continue

Queens Park Rangers reportedly have no intention of letting Macauley Bonne join Ipswich Town as part of a deal that would see Andre Dozzell move in the opposite direction.

According to West London Sport, Rangers are eager to add the Ipswich midfielder to their squad ahead of the 2021/22 Championship season getting under way.

And that has resulted in speculation that Ipswich-born forward Bonne could switch to Portman Road in part exchange.

However, the capital-based publication has claimed that the R's do not plan to part with the 25-year-old this summer, despite enduring a tough campaign following his switch from Charlton Athletic last August.

The Zimbabwe international scored just three goals from his 35 appearances for QPR in 2020/21.
