Former Manchester City and Norwich City striker Ched Evans linked with Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town are reportedly among the sides interested in signing Ched Evans.
The experienced striker is on the hunt for a new club after being told he could leave Fleetwood Town due to disciplinary issues.
According to The Sun, EFL Championship outfit Preston North End are currently the favourites to secure the 32-year-old's services.
However, the report adds that Ipswich and fellow EFL League One side Sunderland are also monitoring the situation.
The former Manchester City, Norwich City and Sheffield United forward has scored 37 goals in 99 appearances for Fleetwood.
Evans was sent to prison in 2012 after being convicted of rape, but having served two and a half years behind bars he was released and acquitted after a retrial.
