Ipswich Town target Jordan Storey joins League One rivals Sheffield Wednesday on loan

A reported target for Ipswich Town has joined League One rivals Sheffield Wednesday.

Earlier this week it was revealed that the Blues were eyeing a loan move for Preston North End defender Jordan Storey.

Ipswich are looking to bring a centre-back in during this window following Toto Nsiala's move to Fleetwood Town on a permanent deal.

However, attention will have to be turned to other targets, as Storey, 24, has made the switch to Hillsborough.

The Blues have also been linked with a move for striker Jermaine Defoe, who is currently without a club.
