Ipswich Town’s Christmas fixtures against Leicester City and Leeds United selected for Sky Sports coverage
Ipswich Town’s festive fixtures against promotion rivals Leicester City and Leeds United have been moved for Sky Sports coverage.
The Tractor Boys will make the journey north to face former Norwich City boss Daniel Farke and his Leeds United side in the final match before Christmas on Saturday December 23.
The game was scheduled to kick-off at 3pm but will now take Sky Sports’ lunch-time slot at 12.30pm.
Kieran McKenna’s side will then entertain current table-toppers Leicester City at Portman Road on Boxing Day at the later time of 7.45pm for television coverage.
This means Town will be on Sky Sports for three games in a row as their East Anglian Derby at home to Norwich City was moved to 12.30pm on Saturday December 16.
As previously scheduled, the Blues will welcome QPR to Portman Road on Friday December 29 (7.45pm) and the Tractor Boys’ trip to Stoke City on New Year’s Day will remain as a 3pm kick-off.
