Ipswich Town fan and journalist Kate Riley previews key game at AFC Wimbledon

Former Sky Sports and BBC TV presenter Kate Riley is the latest guest to join Ipswich Town's Dan Palfrey on The Preview ahead of the Blues' crucial Sky Bet League One match at AFC Wimbledon this evening (6.30pm).

Riley, who was raised in Woodbridge but is currently based in Singapore, talks candidly about her career to date and how she became a Town fan despite being born in California.

Most recently seen as a contributor on Suffolk News' Ipswich Town columnist Martin Lamber's Talking Town podcast, former CNN presenter Riley also discusses the US takeover, Town's current form, the key battles and how she sees the game at Plough Lane panning out.

Ipswich go into the contest in eighth place in the table and three points off sixth-placed Lincoln City, who hold a game in hand and a significantly superior goal difference (15 to 3).

After goalless draws against Rochdale and MK Dons in their previous two matches, Paul Cook has said nothing less than a win will be good enough to keep their play-off hopes alive.

AFC Wimbledon, who appointed Mark Robinson as head coach on February 17, go into the game off the back of a 5-1 win at Accrington Stanley on Saturday which saw The Wombles climb out of the relegation zone.
