Ipswich Town wing-back Wes Burns nominated for PFA Fans' Player of the Year award

Wes Burns continues to reap the rewards of a successful first season at Ipswich Town, having been nominated for PFA Fans' Player of the Year.

Having signed a new contract earlier this week, the 27-year-old has been nominated for yet another award.

Burns has already been named in the League One Team of the Season by the EFL, while the wing-back also earned a clean sweep at the club's end of season awards.

It rounds off a sensational year for the Welshman, who finished as Town's top scorer with 13 goals in all competitions.

Cheltenham striker Alfie May, MK Dons' Scott Twine, Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Barry Bannan, Sunderland striker Ross Stewart and former Blues forward Will Keane have also been nominated for the award.
