Burglars break into home on Viking Heights in Martlesham and steal wrist watch

Burglars smashed their way into a home in Suffolk last week and stole a watch, prompting police to appeal for witnesses.

A property on Viking Heights in Martlesham was broken into at some point between midday on Wednesday and just after 11am on Thursday.

Officers said a bedroom window was smashed and the main bedroom had been searched.

It is believed the only item which was stolen was a gentleman's wrist watch.

Witnesses are asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 37/14688/21.
