Cat shot with airgun in Rushmere St Andrew's Valleyview Drive, leaving it needing leg amputated




A cat has been left needing a leg amputated after it was seriously wounded when it was shot with an airgun in Suffolk earlier this week.

Police are seeking witnesses after the incident, which happened at some point between 10pm on Wednesday and on 8.30am on Thursday, in Valleyview Drive in Rushmere St Andrew.

The seven-year-old black and white cat sustained a wound to its front, right leg which has to be amputated due to the extent of the wound.

Anyone who saw what happened or who knows who was responsible is asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101 quoting crime number 37/48476/21.
