Driver hurt after car overturns in two-vehicle crash on A12 at Martlesham




A driver was left with a cut to their head after their vehicle overturned in a crash on the A12 this morning.

Emergency services were called to reports of a two-vehicle collision on the southbound road at Martlesham at about 7.10am.

A police spokeswoman said the crash happened next to the roundabout near Aldi, with one vehicle overturned on its side.

The driver of the overturned vehicle was assessed at the scene by paramedics, after suffering a cut to the head.

One lane of the A12 was shut but all lanes had reopened by 9am.
