Police call for witnesses following series of burglaries in Eye




Police are appealing for witnesses following a series of burglaries in the Eye area last weekend.

Between 5pm on Friday March 26 and 1:30pm the following day, a workshop was targeted in the Wilby area with a chainsaw and petrol cans stolen. The petrol cans were located nearby later on.

Also on Friday, petrol cans and keys to a Land Rover were stolen from a barn in the area.

Police are also urging residents with garden sheds and garages to follow necessary crime prevention advice.

The following day, police received a report that a garden equipment had been stolen following a break-in into a garden shed in Denmark Hill, Palgrave.
