Brandon woman bailed after fatal crash in Littleport involving car and motorbike




A 64-year-old woman from a Suffolk town has been bailed following a fatal crash involving a car and a motorbike.

Emergency services were called to the incident yesterday at about 4.15pm in Mile End Road in Littleport, at the junction with Mildenhall Road.

The motorcyclist, a 30-year-old man, died at the scene.

The driver of a black Nissan Qashqai, a woman from Brandon, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

She has since been bailed to return to Thorpe Wood Police Station on April 24.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the vehicles in the moments leading up to the incident.

They would also like to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time with dash cam footage.
