An air ambulance was called to Bungay following a 'medical emergency'.

An ambulance, rapid response vehicle and East Anglian Air Ambulance attended the scene in St Mary's Street shortly after 11.10am today.

Crews treated a female patient at the scene before taking her by road to James Paget Hospital, in Great Yarmouth, for further assessment and care.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance service were called to the incident.
