Witnesses are being sought after power tools were stolen from a van in Lowestoft last week.

Police are appealing for information following the theft, which was reported after a resident on Park Road heard a noise at about 10pm on Tuesday, August 18, and went outside to find the side door of his silver Vauxhall Combo van was open.

Officers said he also found his Makita power tools had been stolen from his van, which was parked on the street.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed, or who knows anything about, the incident, or who knows where the stolen tools are.

They would particularly like to hear from anyone who captured any relevant dash-cam footage or who has CCTV in the area.
