Appeal for witnesses to suspected arsons after two fires reported at Lowestoft public toilets




Witnesses are being sought after two suspected arson incidents at a public toilet block in Lowestoft earlier this month.

Officers were called to reports of a small suspicious fire on Wednesday, September 16 at 1.15pm at the facilities in the cemetery on Rotterdam Road.

The fire was quickly extinguished by Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.

But it was the second time a suspected arson had taken place at this location, after a previous incident there on Sunday, September 13.

Officers are appealing for witnesses and ask that anyone who saw any people behaving suspiciously in the vicinity to contact Lowestoft police quoting reference 37/54608/20.
