Bid to convert vacant office at 30 Gordon Road, Lowestoft, to home green lit

A bid to convert a vacant office to a house in a coastal town has been green lit.

East Suffolk Council granted the prior approval proposals from Oldman Properties Ltd for 30 Gordon Road, Lowestoft, last Tuesday.

The office space, which was most recently occupied by a home care company, will become a five-bedroom single dwelling, according to the plans.

The property is from the early 20th century.

Alongside the bedrooms, the plans detail spaces for a kitchen, dining room, living room and a study.
