A47 between Gorleston and Lowestoft reopens after crash left oil and debris in road




A stretch of the A47 in Suffolk which closed after a crash left oil and debris in the road has reopened.

The soundbound carriageway was shut between the B1370 at Gorleston and the B1375 at Lowestoft last night.

Suffolk Police were called and Highways England had contractors clear the oil and debris.

A diversion was set up via the A143 to Gillingham and the A146 back to Lowestoft.

Motorists were advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
