A146 Beccles Road, in Lowestoft, set for three more nights of repairs

A busy town road is set for three more nights of repairs after more works on it took place last night.

Suffolk Highways posted on X to say the total area of repairs needed on the A146 Beccles Road, in Lowestoft, was much bigger than it had originallly planned.

Teams completed works on a 130 metres squared area last night.

The total maintenance area is around 557 metres squared.

The post said repairs have bonded to the road surface ‘very well’.

The dates for the further repairs, which are estimated to require three nights of work, will be announced in due course.

The works are part of a road repair trial.
