Children chased and assaulted by group of teenagers at Carlton Meadow Park in Carlton Colville after disagreement about a football

A group of children aged between 12 and 16 were chased and assaulted by a gang of teenagers and young adults at a town skate park.

The incident happened at about 4.45pm on April 19 in Carlton Meadow Park, Carlton Colville, near Lowestoft, following a disagreement about a football.

After the disagreement, a group of older people arrived, some armed with weapons consisting of bats and a bike lock.

A chase ensued and one young boy was hurt when he was hit in the neck by a bike lock.

The young adults left the scene on bikes and mopeds.
