Lowestoft’s North Quay Retail Park boosted with three new ‘rapid’ EV chargers




A town’s retail park has been boosted with three new ‘rapid’ EV chargers.

Osprey Charging Network announced its three new charging points at North Quay Retail Park, in Lowestoft, were now available for use.

The charging hub now has five high-powered EV chargers, compatible with every electric vehicle on the market.

They can typically add 100 miles of charge in around 40 minutes.

Ian Johnston, CEO of Osprey Charging, said: “The upgraded charging hub in Lowestoft will form a vital part of the re-charging network that will enable the decarbonisation of transport in the UK.”

The EV charging points take contactless bank card payments and Apple/Google Pay, but can also be paid for using the Opsrey app, RFID card payments and all major third-party payment methods, including fleet cards.

Osprey has over 1,100 charge points available to use across the UK.
