Lowestoft's police tape off St Peter's Street as crime scene investigators work at town address




There is a huge emergency service response in Lowestoft this morning, with officers taping off a road in the town.

Suffolk Police said at 5am today St Peter's Street is closed after what they have described as an 'incident' overnight.

A spokesman told Suffolk News there is a investigation ongoing at the scene, but said he would not yet reveal why officers were at the address.

A number of police cars, forensic officers and armed police have been reported to be at the scene.

Officers in Lowestoft have asked drivers to use alternative routes.
