Firefighters tackle undergrowth fire in Gravel Dam, in Oulton, Lowestoft

Firefighters have been alerted to an undergrowth fire in a seaside town.

Crews from North and South Lowestoft were called to Gravel Dam, in Oulton, Lowestoft, just before 2pm.

Hose reel jets and beaters were used to extinguish the fire, which was approximately 60 x 5 metres.

A stop was called nearly two hours later, at 3.49pm.
