Five crews called to large barn fire in Gisleham, near Lowestoft

Firefighters were called to a large barn fire near a seaside town.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was alerted to the incident Gisleham, near Lowestoft, at 8.16am.

Five crews from Leiston, Wrentham, Beccles, North Lowestoft and Lowestoft South are tackling the blaze.

Residents living nearby have been advised to avoid the area due to a large amount of smoke.

There are no reported injuries.

Police are also at the scene.

The incident is ongoing.
