Former Southwold shop keeper from Lowestoft charged with sexual offences against children
A former Southwold shop keeper has been charged with sexual offences against children.
Gary Robson, 59, of Lowestoft and formerly of Southwold, was arrested on July 4 and subsequently charged with ten offences against children.
The former Southwold shop keeper has been charged with two counts of sexual touching of a girl under 13; one count of sexual assault by penetration of a girl under 13; three counts of sexual touching of a girl under 16, and one count of recording images beneath the clothing of another person without them knowing (upskirting).
He was also charged with three counts of making indecent images of children – one each of category A, B and C.
Category A is for images involving penetrative sexual activity, sexual activity with an animal or sadism; category B are images involving non-penetrative sexual activity, and category C are indecent images not falling in categories A or B.
Following his charge he was released on police bail and has been imposed with various bail conditions to protect the victims and witnesses.
He is due to appear at Great Yarmouth Magistrate’s on August 9, 2023.
