Girl, 13, 'punched and kicked' by older teenager at Lowestoft park

A young girl was left with bruising on her face after she was 'punched and kicked' by an older teenager at a Lowestoft park, police have said.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the alleged assault, which happened in Fen Park on Martin's Avenue on Saturday, September 12 at some point between 5.30pm and 6.15pm.

They said a 13-year-old girl in the park was approached by a group of older teenage girls and boys, and one of the girls punched and kicked the victim, causing minor bruising to her face.

The suspect is described as about 15 or 16 years old with blonde hair. She is also said to have been wearing 'heavy make-up".
