Horse found loose in Henstead after walking along A12 near Benacre prompts Suffolk Police owner appeal

A horse was found loose in a Suffolk village after walking along a trunk road.

The horse, which is brown with one eye and a blue coat, was located in Henstead after it was seen walking along the A12 near Benacre.

Lowestoft Police have said a farmer is looking after the horse and has secured it safely.

They ask the owner or anyone who knows the horse's owner to call 101, quoting reference CAD134.
