Horse trapped in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft, freed by fire crew




A horse has been rescued by firefighters, after getting stuck in mud.

Spartan, aged four, was struggling to release himself from a muddy dyke in Oulton Broad, suburb of Lowestoft.

Fire crews from North Lowestoft and Lowestoft South arrived at the scene at 09.46, and Spartan was freed by 10.14.

The horse was then led safely back to his owners.
