Hunt continues for Lowestoft knife-wielding stranger who chased man

The search for a man who was carrying a knife and chased another in Lowestoft continues as police renew the appeal for information.

Police are calling for witnesses following the incident, which occurred between 3pm and 3.15pm on Saturday, July 31.

A man in his 20s reported that he was walking along Mill Road when he was approached by an unknown man who tried to start a conversation with him.

As the victim began to walk away, the suspect is reported to have produced a knife.

The victim ran to KFC at Marine Parade where staff called police. He was not injured in the incident.

The suspect is described as white, approximately 6ft tall and wearing a green T-shirt with shorts.

Anyone with information or anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact Suffolk Police quoting 37/41819/21.
