Lowestoft man charged for being in possession of firearms and cannabis
A Lowestoft man has been charged for being in possession of firearms and cannabis.
Jonathan Blake, 55, of Haward Street, Lowestoft, was charged with possession of a knife or a bladed article in a public place as well as cannabis after police executed a search of his property.
He was also found to be in possession of an air weapon when prohibited and production of cannabis.
Officers attended his property last Wednesday afternoon (November 15) after obtaining a warrant.
A short time later, the 55-year-old was arrested on suspicion of a number of weapons and drug offences.
He was taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
On Friday, he appeared before Norwich Magistrates’ Court where he was bailed to return to Ipswich Crown Court next month, December 15.
