Joseph Annis, 82, of Park Meadows, Lowestoft, charged with series of indecent assaults against children in the 80s

A Lowestoft man has been charged with a series of indecent assaults against children, which occurred in the 80s.

Joseph Annis, 82, of Park Meadows, was charged with five counts of indecent assault.

Three of these happened to a girl between March 13, 1980 and March 12, 1981.

Two other cases took place on another girl between July 18, 1980 and July 17, 1981.

He also faces a sixth charge, which happened between August 19, 1983 and August 18, 1988.

He incited a third girl to commit an act of gross indecency with him on multiple occasions.

He is due to appear before Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, April 10 for a first hearing.
