Man assaulted in Oulton Broad near Lowestoft and taken to hospital after suffering fractures to face




A man was assaulted and taken to hospital after he was hit in the face outside a Suffolk town.

The victim had left a function at the Wherry Hotel in Lowestoft between midnight and 2am on Monday, May 29 when he was hit in the face by an unknown assailant in Oulton Broad, causing him to fall to the ground.

He suffered three small fractures to his face and was treated in hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone who has information, images or footage which could help the inquiry, to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference number 37/31448/23 via the website.
