Kenneth Herbert, 59, of Henham Road, Lowestoft, charged with drink-driving




A man in his 50s has been charged with drink-driving after a member of the public raised concern in a Suffolk town.

Kenneth Herbert, 59, of Henham Road, Lowestoft, failed a roadside breath test after being stopped by police.

Officers were called to the incident at 2.55pm on Thursday, November 16 after a resident notified the force due to worries about the manner of his driving in London Road South.

The force attended and stopped the vehicle, a white van.

Herbert was later taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning, and was released on bail to appear before Great Yarmouth Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, December 13, charged with driving above the legal limit of alcohol.
