Phone stolen and man left with cut to arm after altercation on Lowestoft's Thurston Road with woman who accused him of stealing bicycle




A woman punched a man in the arm after accusing him of stealing a bicycle, police have said as they appeal for witnesses following the altercation.

Officers said the incident happened on Lowestoft's Thurston Road on Friday at about 2.30pm when a woman approached a man at the doorway of his property and accused him of stealing a bicycle.

It is then said that she punched the man in the arm and tried to take the bicycle.

During the altercation, the victim sustained a cut to his arm.

The woman then left the property and took a Wilko carrier bag containing the victim's OnePlus 6T mobile phone, coat and groceries.

She is described as white, in her mid 20s to 30s, with dark brown hair. She was wearing a headscarf at the time.

Anyone with information, or anyone who may have CCTV or doorbell footage, are asked to contact Lowestoft Police on 101 quoting reference 37/23667/21.
