Moped stolen from outside of Cleveland Road, Lowestoft, property on Sunday just minutes before another bike taken from car park near Whapload Road




A moped was stolen from a property in a coastal town just minutes before another moped was taken from a car park.

The black Keeway moped was stolen from outside of a home in Cleveland Road, Lowestoft, at around 9.05pm on Sunday (reference: 37/23476/24).

It has a registration of LP23KWM.

A black and grey Lexmoto Diablo 125cc moped was taken from car park near Whapload Road around half an hour later (reference: 37/23494/24).

It has a registration of WJ72UJC.

An attempted moped theft took place several hours later in Lorne Park Road.

An individual walked into the front garden of a property and attempted to wheel away the bike at around 3.27am, but it was chained in place and left (reference: 37/23616/24).

A spate of thefts which took place in the space of a week were being investigated by Lowestoft Police earlier this month.
