Police appeal to find motorbike after motorcyclist seriously injured in crash in Lowestoft in Pinewood Avenue at junction with Eastwood Avenue

Police have launched an appeal to find a motorbike after a motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash with a car in Lowestoft.

Police were called to Pinewood Avenue, at the junction with Eastwood Avenue, at about 11.40am on Saturday following reports of a collision involving a white Volkswagen Polo and a motorbike.

The rider of the motorbike, a man in his 30s, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital.

The motorbike was not at the scene when officers arrived and has not been located.

Anyone who saw the collision or has dash cam footage before the incident or anyone who has information about the motorcycle being removed from the scene should contact the Roads and Armed Policing Team quoting 37/21050/25.
