Lowestoft police continue search after concerns over personal items discovered near North Denes Beach

Police are continuing to search an area near a Lowestoft beach after the discovery of a number of personal items.

Suffolk Constabulary launched an investigation and sealed off woodland near the town's North Denes Beach after officers were alerted on Saturday night.

They were called at 8.15pm to concerns relating to a number of personal items found by a member of the public.

This afternoon, a spokeswoman said police were continuing to carry out searches in the area.
