Lowestoft police urge people to take care of their pets after dog left in hot car




Police in Lowestoft have urged people to take care of their animals after a dog was left in a hot car today.

The police also warned they may have to break into vehicles to free pets.

Further action from animal welfare could follow in such incidents.

In a recent tweet, Lowestoft Police said: "Our 4 legged friend was left in a hot vehicle in Lowestoft today.

"Please be careful with your animals as this may result in us accessing the vehicle to get to your animal and further action could follow with animal welfare."
