Reports teenage woman sexually assaulted in Lowestoft's St Margaret's Plain area prompts appeal for witnesses




Police believe a teenage woman may have been sexually assaulted in Lowestoft in the early hours of this morning.

It's after officers received a report from a third party that a woman, aged 18, had been the victim of a sexual assault in the St Margaret's Plain area at about 2am.

Police are still trying to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has dashcam footage of suspicious behaviour in the area between midnight and 1am to come forward.
