Lowestoft Community Fire Stations release pictures of blaze involving three boats at Broadlands Marina, in Oulton Broad





The fire service has released pictures of a blaze involving three boats at a marina.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 8.47pm yesterday to the incident at Broadlands Marina, in Oulton Broad, Lowestoft.

Two engines from Lowestoft South attended along with one from North Lowestoft and one from Beccles Fire Station.

A spokesperson for Lowestoft Community Fire Stations, which released images of the blaze, said they were supported by Lowestoft Police, the East of England Ambulance Service, HM Coastguard Lowestoft and Hemsby Lifeboat.

The incident was dealt with by 11.41pm.

The spokesperson said a boom was placed across the marina entrance.
