Train delays between Norwich and Lowestoft as a tree falls on tracks at Brundall Gardens

LEARN MORETrains have been cancelled this morning after a tree fell onto the tracks.
Disruption between Norwich and Lowestoft is expected until 1.30pm this afternoon following a tree falling on the railway line between Brundall Gardens and Whitlingham Junction.
The tree is currently blocking one of the lines and trains have been cancelled or delayed while the situation is sorted.
National Rail is on the scene and Greater Anglia have requested replacement buses for the affected routes.
Services from Lowestoft to Norwich and Norwich to Great Yarmouth are currently affected.
A spokesperson for network rail said: "The tree is being cleared and the second line should be reopened to services soon following final checks."
