Three men due in court after teenager held against his will and assaulted in Jacobs Street, Lowestoft

Three men are due in court today charged in connection with an incident of unlawful imprisonment and assault in Lowestoft which left the victim needing to go to hospital.

Cory Baker, 24, of Larch Road, Lowestoft, Lavell Farman, 23, of no fixed abode and Shinda Lee, 33, of Melbourne Road, Lowestoft, have all been charged with conspiracy to commit false imprisonment and conspiracy to commit assault causing actual bodily harm.

In addition, Farman and Lee have been charged with false imprisonment and assault causing actual bodily harm.

All three men are due to appear before Norwich Magistrates Court today.

The charges relate to an incident on Saturday, when a teenager was held against his will at an address in Jacobs Street and assaulted by two men over a period of time.

The teenager was then allowed to leave, having suffered cuts and bruises to his face and head. The victim had to go to hospital.

Following police inquiries, officers arrested two men late on Tuesday and a third man in the early hours of this morning in connection with the incident.

The men were taken to Great Yarmouth Police Investigation Centre for questioning where they were charged.
