Witnesses sought after teenage boys 'spat at' woman in Lowestoft assault




A woman was left 'shaken' after two teenage boys spat at her in Lowestoft last week, police have said.

Officers are appealing for witnesses following the assault, which happened at about 4.30pm on Thursday at the junction with St Margarets Road and Park Road.

A spokeswoman said a woman in her 20s was walking back from the shops nearby when she was approached by three unknown teenage boys.

Two of them are then said to have spat on her, after which the group continued on their way.

The woman was not physically harmed but was left shaken, the spokeswoman said.

The boys are described as being about 5ft 3ins tall, aged between 16 and 17. They all had dark hair.

They were all wearing either jeans or tracksuits, and one of them was wearing a blue and dark red jacket.
