Woman identified after Lowestoft CCTV appeal where vulnerable man was assaulted in London Road North

A woman who police wanted to speak to after the assault of a vulnerable man in Lowestoft has been identified.

At some point between 4.30pm and 4.35pm on May 20, the man in his 20s, was slapped in the face by a woman in London Road North.

He was walking by the old Tesco site when the assault took place.

Officers issued a CCTV appeal to trace a woman on July 8.

Police confirmed today the woman in question has been identified.

Investigations into the incident continue, and officers remain keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault.
