A11 at Red Lodge, near Mildenhall, reopens in both directions eight hours after serious collision
Part of the A11 in Suffolk has reopened in both directions more than eight hours after a serious crash.
Police were called to a collision on the major route at Red Lodge, near Mildenhall, at about 10.30pm yesterday.
A spokesperson for National Highways said the A11 was closed in both directions between the entry and exit slip at the B1085 turn-off and traffic was being diverted.
The route reopened at 6.45am today.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the incident, including anyone with a dash camera that might have captured the collision or recorded the vehicles beforehand.
