Record fair set to return to the Jubilee Centre in Mildenhall after successful debut instalment in July
A free-to-attend record fair is set to return to a town following its successful debut instalment earlier this year.
The Jubilee Centre in Mildenhall will be hosting its second record fair on Saturday, November 30, following the first event in July which was positively received, with a high number of stall holders and a good turn out of people.
Burwell-based company Event Horizon Live started running the fairs at The Maltings in Ely five years ago and they have gradually become more popular.
Mark Hylton, owner of Event Horizon Live, said: “Over the last five years or so all of our fairs have built a reputation for being a very friendly environment as we try to in the first instance choose venues that are accessible to all.
“Every fair has free public entry and we have a really excellent range of dealers that cover all genres of musical tastes who have a wealth of knowledge.
“Collecting records is a true passion and we want to pass that on to those who come through the doors at our events. Vinyl has had a revival in recent times and record fairs are a great way to get involved.
“There are records for all budgets and all tastes so I would encourage anyone who might need some help getting started or are yearning for a record shop experience to come along.”
Mark added: “Having a record fair in the town brings something different and attracts visitors. We want local people to get behind it as well as our regulars, so feel free to come along.”
Refreshments will be available on the day and the event runs from 10am to 3pm.
