A11 lane closure lifted near Mildenhall after broken down car recovered

A lane closure has been lifted after a broken down car caused major delays on a key road.

Lane one of the A11 northbound, near Mildenhall, was closed at around 2.20pm while Suffolk Police awaited vehicle recovery.

The closure was around 1.5 miles north of the Fiveways roundabout near Barton Mills — which caused long delays, according to the AA Road Traffic map.

The car was recovered and the road was fully reopened by 4.37pm.
