Brandon man Jason Anderson to appear in court charged in connection with firearms incident
A man is set to appear in court after being charged in connection with a firearms incident.
Jason Anderson, 36, of Riverside Way, Brandon, is set to appear at Suffolk Magistrates' Court today after a man was shot in the leg outside of a property in the town on Monday.
A man in his 40s called police on Tuesday reporting he had been shot in the leg with a firearm, thought to be a shotgun, at an address on the High Street, between 10.30pm and 11pm.
The injury was described as minor and he did not require hospital treatment.
Police seized a number of firearms and ammunition from a property in Riverside Way following a search.
Anderson was arrested and subsequently charged with two counts of failing to comply with the conditions of a firearm certificate and possession of an imitation firearm intent to cause fear or violence.
