Motorist arrested in Mildenhall for dangerous and drug driving released under investigation after police chase
A motorist has been released under investigation pending further inquiries after being arrested for dangerous and drug driving in a Suffolk town.
The 21-year-old driver allegedly failed to stop for police in Mildenhall yesterday at 10.15am, before crashing into a parked car in Peterhouse Close and running away.
Officers surrounded the area to locate the man who was found at his home where he failed a drug swipe.
According to a spokesperson for Suffolk Police, the man was arrested for failing to stop for police, failing to report a road traffic incident, dangerous driving and drug related crimes.
He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and has been released under investigation.
