Mildenhall Fen Tigers confirm new date for double header against the Leicester Lion Cubs

A new date has been confirmed for the Mildenhall Fen Tigers' National Development League (NDL) Grand Final first leg against the Leicester Lion Cubs.

The Fen Tigers were due to host Leicester yesterday afternoon in a double header which would also have included the concluding half of their NDL Knock Out Cup Final against the same opposition.

The two fixtures will still take place on the same day and have been rearranged for this Thursday (7.45pm).

Greg Palmer, the club promoter for the Fen Tigers, said: “We’d like to thank all of our supporters and Leicester Speedway too for their patience as we’ve worked to get a date for this restaging.

"And we would like to thank Deane Wood, of Spedeworth, and Kevin Boothby, of Suffolk Downs, for their support and meeting sponsor Greenheath's, who’ve made this possible.

“We really need your support to cheer the lads onto victory so hopefully as many of you as will turn up on Thursday. Speedway under the lights is always a spectacle."
