B&M Retail Ltd submitted a premises licence application earlier this month.

New staff were asked to nominate a charity to support for the opening, with the King’s Project Food Bank chosen.

A spokesperson for B&M said: “We’re feeling extremely positive about the creation of more jobs. We hope customers are going to be delighted with their new store.

“King’s Project Food Bank really stood out for us, so we wanted to give them some VIP treatment as a thank you for all the hard work that they have done.”
